| “Nobody believed until I believed me.”
You hype yet? We eat the fruit of our tongues (Proverbs 18:21). So whenever we use our utterances to uplift or downgrade another, we do to the same to ourselves. That’s why I gotta hype you all the way up. I gotta make sure you know how incredibly dope you are. I need to eat that fruit.
2020 is your season of harvest. I know it’s different than you imagined, but the fact remains. Yes, the world is reaping what it has sown. That’s the world’s business. I’m talking about you. You’ve been diligent. You have been patient. (Why did 50’s “Patiently Waiting” start playing in my head?) You have done the grueling work of being the person you were born to be. Your harvest is here.
There’s a woman on this list named Raina. Raina is a wife and mother to twins and a teacher and an overall light. She’s kinda mild-mannered so she thinks her gifts go unnoticed. They do not. Neither do yours.

P.S. Today’s opening quote comes from Common’s “The People.” It is a reminder that we can only achieve what we dare to believe. Believe that this is your season to harvest and you shall.
P.P.S. Okay, time for our daily task! Pick up a pen and jot a few lines to your ten-year-old self. What seeds do you need to thank yourself for planting?
