I’m at my lover’s house. He’s blasting some Yoruba folk music, which he’s translated to mean the warriors are here. Very fitting. Warriors live.
I typed that word into the subject line and smiled. The nerd in me loves the double entendre. Live as in exist, be, remain alive. And live as in active, in person, explosive.
Here we are both.
I am grateful that you are alive and well enough to read these words. I don’t take that for granted and I hope you do not either.
